Clearabee customers can cancel or amend their order or delivery date as long as the skip is not already out for delivery. A wasted journey fee will apply if the skip is already out for delivery. If you have more waste than your skip can contain, you can always supplement the skip hire with our ‘Man and Van’ waste clearance service.
A wasted journey charge may be applied if the skip cannot be placed or collected on time.
Additional charges can occur when the skip is filled past the ‘level load’ line, the waste exceeds the skip’s capacity for volume or weight or is filled with prohibited items.
Parking suspensions and skip permits can be discussed at the point of ordering so additional charges are less likely to be incurred.
You’ll need a skip permit from Wolverhampton’s local authority if you intend to place the skip on the public highway. The cost of skip permits vary depending on each council but we can apply for your skip permit and include the additional cost in your order.
You will need a parking suspension as well as a skip permit to situate a skip in a parking space that is Pay and Display or permit-only. Parking suspensions will require Wolverhampton Council to post a notice to suspend the parking space and this will be charged on a day-by-day basis.
