The 4-yard ‘Midi’ skip is the smallest skip widely available in the UK. If you need a bigger container, we also have 6 - 8 cubic yard ‘Builders’ skips and 10 - 12 yards ‘Maxi’ skips for hire. Specialist skips are also available upon request.
Skips are a robust rubbish removal solution but flexible enough for household waste, bulky items and business waste. Modest amounts of garden and construction waste can also all be thrown into a skip.
The following items are prohibited from being disposed of in a skip without prior agreement:
Food waste
White goods and WEEE items
Hazardous waste including lighting tubes, fridges and laptops.
Plasterboard or gypsum waste
Chemicals, liquids, paints and solvents
Skip permits are issued by Hastings Borough Council if you are intending to place your skip on the road. Clearabee can apply for a skip permit on your behalf and include the additional cost in your order.
If you are planning to place your skip in a permit-only or Pay and Display parking space, you will require a parking suspension as well as a skip permit. These suspensions are charged on a day-by-day basis and require the council to place a notice and suspend the space.
