The 4-yard ‘Midi’ skip is the smallest skip that is widely available across the UK. If you need a larger container, we have 6 - 8 cubic yard ‘Builders’ skips, 10 - 12 yards ‘Maxi’ skips and specialist skips.
Household waste, bulky items and business waste can all be thrown into a skip, alongside modest amounts of garden and construction waste.
This list of items are prohibited from being thrown in a skip without prior arrangement with Clearabee:
Chemicals, liquids, paints and solvents
Hazardous waste including lighting tubes, fridges and monitors
Food waste of any kind
White goods and large WEEE items
Plasterboard or gypsum waste
Skip permits are issued by Thurrock Council and you will need one if you are intending to place your skip on a road. We can apply for a skip permit for you and include the additional costs in your total order.
If you are planning to place your skip in a permit-only or Pay and Display parking space, you will require a parking suspension in addition to a skip permit. These are charged on a day-by-day basis and require Thurrock Council to place a notice and suspend the parking space.
