Typically, you’ll need a skip permit when you want to place your skip on the road but we can acquire the permit for you and process the payment along with your order.
Parking suspensions in Exeter
Many of Exeter’s residents don't have the requisite space for a skip on their property so may struggle when it comes to remodeling or refurbishment projects.
Clearabee can acquire a parking suspension on your behalf and process the payment, meaning you can make use of a skip even if you don’t have the space.
Exeter skip hire FAQs
When selecting a skip, there are some things you should think about, including which skip is the most suitable, where you plan to place it and what you plan to dispose of in it.
We have covered the main skips in our FAQ section, but we can hire out almost any type of skip if required.
These are Clearabee’s most popular skips:
4 y3 - The ‘Midi Skip’:
Popular for disposing of heavy or dense waste such as bricks, gravel and soil, making them perfect for average-sized home, garden and construction projects.
6 and 8 y3 - The ‘Builder’s Skip’:
Most-commonly used for heavy, dense waste and bulky waste and the Six-yard skip is the one most regularly-hired skips across the UK.
10 & 12 y3 - ‘Maxi’ and ‘XL’ skips:
These skips are not suitable for heavy and dense waste but are great for light installation waste. These are perfect for larger projects like house and office clearances.
Generally, the larger the skip, the lower the cost per cubic yard. The most expensive aspect of skip hire is the HGV delivery but this doesn’t increase significantly with the size of the skip. Therefore, hiring a larger skip gives you better value for money.
Our standard skips are all available online with real-time pricing. Our customer service centre is open 7-days a week and you can book online 24 hours-a-day using our hassle-free system. But if you have a special requirement, get in touch with us and we can usually provide a bespoke quote within a few hours.
If you are hoping to place your skip on the road due to a lack of space on your property, then you are going to need a skip permit. The costs vary depending on your local council but Clearabee can apply for your skip permit and include the additional cost in your order.
If you don’t have the room for a skip on your property, you can use a nearby permit-only or Pay and Display parking space, as long as you can acquire a parking suspension.
Usually, these are charged on a day-by-day basis by your local council, but Clearabee can apply for your permit and include the cost alongside your order.
