You can cancel or amend your order or delivery date as long as the skip is not already out for delivery. If you have more rubbish than your skip can hold, you have the option to supplement the skip hire with our ‘Man and Van’ waste clearance service.
An additional charge for a wasted journey may be applied if the skip cannot be placed or collected on time.
Additional charges can occur when the skip is filled above the ‘level load’ line, the waste exceeds the skip’s capacity for weight or if it is filled with prohibited items.
If required, parking suspensions and skip permits can be discussed at the point of ordering so unplanned additional charges are less likely to be incurred.
You’ll need a skip permit from Sandwell Council if you intend to place the skip on the road. The cost of skip permits vary depending on each council but we can apply for your skip permit and include the additional cost in your order.
You will also need a parking suspension to situate a skip in a Pay and Display or permit-only parking space. Parking suspensions will require Sandwell Council to post a notice to suspend the parking space and this is usually charged on a day-by-day basis.
