When booking a skip there are several things to think about such as skip size, type and what you plan to dispose of in it.

If you adhere to the terms and conditions of your skip hire, then there should be no additional charges incurred. Such charges can occur when the skip is overloaded, if the skip is unable to be collected or if restricted waste streams are discovered in the skip.
Parking suspensions or skip permits incur an additional cost but these should be discussed and agreed upon when ordering.
Standard garden and construction waste streams are suitable for a skip, but you need to be mindful of the weight of bricks, rubble and soil. Standard household items as well as bulky and business waste can also be disposed of in one of our skips.
There are certain items that cannot be removed in a skip without previous agreement:
Hazardous waste streams including laptops, monitors and TV’s
Food waste
Plasterboard and gypsum waste
White goods, large WEEE items
Solvents, liquids and paints
The standard skip hire period is 14 days but if you need a skip for a longer period, you should let us know asap so arrangements can be made and charges can be processed. If you need a shorter skip hire period, then you can designate a day for collection when placing your order.
If you are looking to place your skip in a permit-only parking or Pay and Display parking space, then you will also need a parking suspension from your local council in addition to a skip permit. Parking suspensions are usually charged on a day-by-day basis.
