Clearabee For Carers

One of our Clearabee teams had a busy day yesterday: helping out the NHS in North Wales. This is a new collaboration with Sofology, a leading UK sofa retailer, to deliver brand new sofas and sofa beds (free of charge) to ensure that NHS doctors, nurses and key workers can take well-needed breaks.

One of our Clearabee teams was ‘donated’ to the clearance, where we removed the old furniture from the hospital, which created space for the new furniture to be delivered by Sofology. Once collected, the furniture was 100% diverted from landfill and with thanks to the 19,674 trees we have planted in the UK over the last 2 years, the collection was carbon neutral too.

We have Clearabee teams collecting waste all over the country. Each day we clear fly-tipped waste from supermarket car parks, provide kerbside collections to local authorities and support key industries such as emergency maintenance teams. We also keep homes and businesses across the UK clear from waste whilst they are in lockdown.

In addition to these services, it’s a privilege and a pleasure to be able to offer even the smallest amount of support to our NHS workers.
