Today we announced the opening of a new depot in Musselburgh, just outside Edinburgh, to provide waste management services to customers across Scotland.
We have hired five people in Scotland and will initially operate three rubbish removal trucks from the new base. With growing demand for our services we plan to employ 10 people and run five trucks in Scotland by the end of 2015.
The opening of the Edinburgh depot completes Clearabee’s initial UK roll-out, enabling us to offer same-day or next-day rubbish removal services across all parts of mainland Britain.
Our professional rubbish removal teams can remove almost all waste streams and are frequently called on to remove single bulky items, provide house clearance services and clear fly-tipped waste on behalf of local authorities and housing associations. We remove tens of thousands of tonnes of junk and other waste each year, and partner with waste transfer stations that operate a zero-to-landfill policy wherever possible.
Our flexible and environmentally friendly rubbish clearance and removal services have been used by more than 30,000 household, business and local authority customers since we started trading in 2013. We now employ 50 people at 15 sites across the UK.
