What is a 6 yard skip most suitable for?
The 6 yard skip may also be referred to as a builders skip and is one of the most commonly hired skips. They’re ideal for cleaning up after a room renovation where a smaller midi skip isn’t big enough. It’s also perfectly suited to a house clearance and flexibility means it will be seen on both domestic jobs and on building sites. Stone, soil and dense waste are often more suited to a smaller skip. If you were to fill a larger skip with garden slabs you may quickly go over the weight limit. This is less likely to happen with a 4-yard skip due to its smaller capacity.
