OUR PROCESS
How it works
To book this service you must be a Furl customer with a recent order or delivery. You will need to attach a copy of your order or delivery note so we can verify that you are a Furl customer.
On the day of collection, we will send one of our friendly collection team to collect your old items of furniture, which can be inside or outside of your property. When our team are on the way, you’ll receive a text and email notification to keep you updated. Once removed, the removal team will take your item to a licensed facility for recycling and processing, you will receive a notification of this by email.
Book and pay for your collection
If you’re booking the collection yourself, decide which items you want Clearabee to responsibly remove for you, and add them to your order via the boxes above.
Finally, make your payment and choose your collection day and we’ll do the rest for you.
Preparing your waste for collection
Organise the items that you have chosen for collection and group them all together.
These can be left indoors if you will be present at your property for your collection, but we recommend that the items are left outside so we can access them without disturbing you.
On the day of collection
Once we are on our way to your property, we will send you an SMS to keep you informed but we may not be able to provide a specific time ahead of the collection.
Please ensure that we can access your items. If we cannot access the items or you are not at your property, a wasted journey will be charged which will cost £49.99, with the balance refunded.
Once we have collected
Once we have collected your items, they will be transferred to one of our approved Commerical Waste Transfer Stations and you will be sent a Waste Transfer Note.
This will record the location of your items, the vehicle used to remove them, and the total percentage that was recycled or diverted from landfill.
Environment
Carbon neutral and almost nothing goes to waste
As the UK’s largest clearance company and a national waste management company, we take our environmental obligations very seriously.
Over 95% of the waste we collect is diverted from landfill and we offset the carbon from our vehicles.
We planted 6,500 trees in 2018 and another 12,000 in 2019, creating two new UK forests.
