HOW IT WORKS
Removing your furniture is super easy with Clearabee
Book & pay for your collection
If you’re booking the collection yourself, decide which items you want Clearabee to responsibly remove for you, and add them to your order via the boxes above.
Finally, make your payment and choose your collection day and we’ll do the rest for you.
Prepare your waste
Organise the items that you have chosen for collection and group them all together.
These can be left indoors if you will be present at your property for your collection, but we recommend that the items are left outside so we can access them without disturbing you.
On the day of the collection
Once we are on our way to your property, we will send you an SMS to keep you informed but we may not be able to provide a specific time ahead of the collection.
Please ensure that we can access your item. If we cannot access the items or you are not at your property, a wasted journey will be charged which will cost £29.99, with the balance refunded.
After your collection
Your collected items will be transferred to one of our approved Commerical Waste Transfer Stations and you will be sent a Waste Transfer Note.
This will record the location of your items, the vehicle used to remove them, and the total percentage that was recycled or diverted from landfill.

Here are a few frequently asked questions we receive regarding bulky furniture removal.
Does my furniture have to be outside when you collect it?
Your furniture can be collected from inside or outside of your property. The benefit of having your waste collected from outside is that you won’t have to be in when we arrive to collect your waste. This is as long as our waste operatives are able to access the waste.
What if my furniture is too big to fit through my door?
We are able to dismantle large items if they are too large to fit through your front door or onto our van. Some items that are difficult to dismantle by hand can even be sawed into more manageable segments.
What if I can't find the furniture I want to get rid of on this page?
If you can’t find the item of furniture, don’t worry – we’ll still be able to help. As well as our predefined prices for certain items, we are able to collect loads consisting of cubic yard quantities of mixed waste. You can find this on our ‘Man & Van’ service page. If you are unsure how many cubic yards of waste you have, get in contact and we’ll help guide you.
How do I know when you will be arriving to collect my waste?
Once you have booked a collection we will send you an email confirming the date you have chosen. On the day of your collection, we will send you a text to let you know the estimated time of our arrival.
Where in the country can you collect furniture from?
Our services are provided on a national level which means we’ll be able to solve your waste removal requirements wherever you are based. From London to Edinburgh, from cities to small villages, we’ll happily provide our convenient rubbish removal services to you.

Can I change or cancel my booking?
As long as we are not on the way to collect your rubbish at the time of your request, we are typically able to amend your order. Please ensure you give us as much warning if you are planning on amending your order.
What other services are you able to provide?
A furniture collection may not suit everybody’s requirements and we understand that. This is why we provide a range of different services to best suit every scenario and situation. If you’ve got a large-scale rubbish removal on your hands that you’d like to complete over a number of days you can hire a skip with Clearabee. Skip Bags are available too and are even more convenient than a typical skip hire.
FURNITURE RECYCLING & REUSE
What happens to the furniture items that you collect?
We only use waste centres that have been audited and can show they can process waste with high rates of recycling. This means we can provide you with the peace of mind that the items we collect from you will be handled responsibly. Items of furniture such as sofas are unfortunately one of the most common items to be fly-tipped. This is why it’s important to use a responsible and registered waste handler such as ourselves, who are able to recycle over 95% of the waste we collect.
We are also developing our own waste processing centre to gain even more control over how your waste is dealt with. This means we’ll be able to give Clearabee customers complete transparency and show the journey your waste goes on when collected by a Clearabee waste service. Some sofas that come to Clearabee can even be professionally cleaned and resold at low prices to keep them from being wasted. This pushes these items further up the waste hierarchy to reuse which is an even greener alternative to recycling.
